Wind-drawings, Cottage 2025
I brought one of my wind-drawing machines to a cottage we rented in Val-des-monts, Quebec in August 2025. The wind was often strong and steady, but it did shift in direction throughout a day. The result is some beautifully weaved drawings.
As stated in previous posts about the Wind-drawings, the series is intended to make visual record of Climate Change at a local level. We might have a mental image of Climate Change based on media images of environmental disasters, but is it detectable on a day-to-day basis in something as fleeting as a breeze?
