Minefield Cyanotypes
While at the Korean DMZ in the summer of 2025 I created some cyanotypes. I had never used the medium before, but because of the directness of the photographic process, it worked well with my conceptual approach. Indeed, each is a measure of time spent at the edge of a minefield. The unexposed paper was pushed onto the barbs of the barbed wire fencing until the exposure was complete. I have put them side-by-side in a set of four which creates its own fenceline.
